Tattoo & SPMU removal
A Q-switched laser breaks tattoo ink into tiny particles that your body clears away over the following weeks. It also lifts old semi-permanent make-up from brows and lips.
We are not taking bookings for this yet. Get in touch and we will let you know as soon as they open.

- Course
- Usually 6 to 12 sessions
- Spacing
- Every 6 to 8 weeks
- Each session
- Minutes, depending on size
- Patch test
- Required, at least 24 hours before
What it treats
- Black and blue ink
- Red, orange and pink ink
- Semi-permanent brows and lip liner
- Radiotherapy marker tattoos, free of charge
How it works
Each pulse shatters the ink in a fraction of a second. The skin may frost white for a few minutes, then settle.
Your immune system carries the ink away between sessions, which is why we space them out. Tattoos nearer the centre of the body tend to fade faster.
Some colours, such as purple and green, respond more slowly. We will tell you honestly what to expect at your consultation.
Before your visit
- Keep the area out of the sun for 4 weeks before treatment.
- Do not apply numbing cream unless we have agreed it at your consultation.
- Wear loose clothing over the area so nothing rubs afterwards.
Afterwards, follow your aftercare guide.
Questions
Can every tattoo be removed completely?
Many fade until they are barely visible, but results depend on the ink, colour, age and depth of the tattoo. We will give you an honest view at the consultation.
Is radiotherapy marker removal really free?
Yes. If you have marker dots from radiotherapy, removing them is free. Book a consultation and tell us at the start.
Can you lighten a tattoo for a cover-up?
Yes. A few sessions often lighten a tattoo enough for an artist to cover it.
